Tomorrow - the last day of summer.

We're heading into autumn.

It's been raining for a few days here and down south there's a lot of flooding again.

It's nearly dark and I thought I'd better grab the umbrella, kick off the moccasins and put on a pair of shoes to go outside.  I need to empty the pool of some water and check the rain gauge.

We've had 45ml since last night.

While outside, I spied this........

A passionfruit flower.

I just had to take a picture-didn't I?

The forecast is for plenty of rain to come for the next couple of days.
Take care any bloggers or readers who may be in Victoria, hopefully your not in any of the effected areas where there are evacuations going on at the moment.

I don't think an umbrella will be enough, somehow.

I love the rain!   Maa

The passionfruit vine has the most beautiful flower and then amazingly produces the yummy fruit. Hopefully some lemon and passionfruit butter coming up soon Maa. It is wet here too but we really need it so no complaints from me. Enjoy! G xx

Lovely photos Maa! My passionfruit vine has some fruit on it at the moment but it's a waiting game...will the possums eat them before they are ripe or will they leave me some? Hope so!

Have never seen a passionfruit. Nothing like it here. The flower is very pretty!

I enjoyed your lemon curd recipe. I have blogged about making jam http://caroleschatter.blogspot.co.nz/2011/11/making-jam.html

I can grow passionflower but they won't set fruit in this part of the country.Mind you, it doesn't really matter because the flowers are so beautiful all on their own!

Enjoy your Autumn and I hope the rain doesn't get too bad.

Hello Maa
Yes, well the rain came tumbling down on Monday, and tumbled and tumbled down so much I began tho think there couldn't be much more up there but seeming there is. Problems in the city but north of us are having a terrible time - thankfully here in the Yarra Valley we are supposedly going to be spared for a day or two
Nice to see you found the new blog
Take care
Cathy
